🚊Celebrate 200 years Railway spring Gala

The Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway's Spring Gala will be blowing its whistle on Saturday, March 22nd, celebrating a cheeky 200 years of rail action. This saucy little heritage line actually traces back 219 years to the Llanelli Tramroad - proving some things just get better with age!😊

Starting at 9:30 AM, the excitement mounts with:

  • Regular rides between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM featuring three locomotives ready to show you a good time:

    • The powerful Sentinel 0-4-0 DM Shunter (perfect for those who like it rough and industrial)

    • The curvaceous Class 143 Pacer Railcar (still frisky after all these years)

    • The exotic Ex. MOD 4-wheel Railcar (for those who fancy something a bit different)

Don't miss the special demonstrations of 'Winnie', the sassy little Wickham Track Inspection car that knows every inch of the line intimately.

When you need to refuel, the newly-opened Super Sprinter Cafe (housed in a converted single-carriage Class-153) will keep you satisfied all day long with its delicious offerings. Ticket are available and are limited, so hurry!

Whether you fancy a quick ride or want to go all day with a rover ticket, this Spring Gala promises to leave you thoroughly exhausted but begging for more. Keep an eye on their Facebook page to see what they're getting up to behind the scenes!

🎼 Adwaith Shatters Barriers as Welsh Music's Groundbreaking Trio

Adwaith: BBC Woman's Hour in January, named "most influential Welsh band of the decade" on BBC's One Show, headline performance at Carmarthen's Lyric Theatre... should I go on?

For those who say "they don't make music like they used to," I found one for you. Listen to "ETO" and let the echo take you back to 70's rock and come closer... 👂it's in Welsh (that’s right), Welsh! and it’s rocking! These girls know how to cook beautiful music together! Hollie Singer, Gwenllian Anthony, and Heledd Owen continue to prove that Welsh-language music rocks and this is just the beginneing. “MWY” and “ETO” i’m vybing. Stop scrolling - do yourself a favour and treat your ears to a masterpiece.

Fans can hear their groundbreaking Radio One session on Sian Eleri's show, including their Welsh reinterpretation of an English song.
